Dear Mom,
There aren’t enough words to describe how we’re feeling right now. At times we’re angry,sad,helpless,hopeless, and in the same breath we’re faithful, hopeful, as well as optimistic. The past few months have been exactly that, an emotional roller coaster. To witness you fight this fight thus far, has been nothing short of extraordinary.
You’ve been our rock, our strength, our hero, and our queen. You’ve sacrificed your career aspirations, your well-being, and your health in order to provide us with the best possible opportunities to succeed, and molded us to become functional members of society. You’ve truly shown us, through your actions, the meaning of unconditional love.
As you continue to battle stage 4 cancer, you’re still teaching us life lessons. You’re still being yourself, and leading by example. You’re still the tough, courageous, graceful, and hilarious woman that we all know and love. Most importantly, you’ve continued to show us that despite how you feel, and despite the adversities of life, real strength comes from within. Thank you for being strong for us. We love you very much, and will forever be indebted to you. Keep fighting the good fight.

P.S. We wrote this letter in honor of our mother. A natural-born caregiver, she’s is now battling stage 4 cancer. As her children, we’re doing all that we can to provide the level of care that she provided us our entire lives. Needless to say, we have some pretty big shoes to fill. The proceeds of this fundraiser will go toward her medical expenses, and will also provide additional financial resources in order to supplement her disability insurance. We’re very appreciative to all of our family and friends of have supported us throughout this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and additional support. We need all of the help that we can get!
