After Whong's mom was provided a way here, they sent for her dad, Albert Jayson, a few months later. Whong and her family have shared a special journey and time together here in the United States from hiking Grandfather Mountain to the simple pleasures of eating ice cream at the local mall... things not so readily available in the Philippines.
Their next stop was the White House... her dad was so excited to get to D.C.!
While packing for this new adventure, Albert collapsed.... cardiac arrest. And now, besides planning small investments to fulfill her father's dream of America, she is faced with a gigantic investment of caring for and shipping his body back to the Philippines, his home, to prepare for burial. Cremation isn't an option.
