Hello to all of our family and friends! As many of you know, our mom (Carolyn Sims) was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer in February 2017. We continue to believe for a complete and total miraculous healing for her body! We are so thankful for all of the prayers, visits, calls, cards, messages, hugs, smiles, and encouraging words - they have given our mom and entire family hope and strength.
After her diagnosis, she started chemotherapy. Like many, she felt awful and was horribly ill for several days after each treatment, seemingly only getting worse as the treatments continued. After her six week CT scan showed little to no change, our mom made a choice for herself, which we all supported, to no longer receive chemotherapy. She did not have peace that it was the right treatment for her.
We encouraged her to seek an alternative form of treatment. She was referred to a a naturopathic doctor. The best treatment option is intravenous vitamin therapy. The success rates with these infusions are high. We are anticipating great results! Like many non-traditional forms of treatment, the infusions are quite expensive and not covered by insurance. We do not want this to stop our mom's healing progress so we are moving forward to begin infusions as soon as possible.
Many of you have asked how you can help. We sincerely covet your prayers above all. Additionally, if you would like to donate monetarily, it would mean so much to our family. Our mom was given a word from the beginning of her battle, that this sickness will not end in death, but for the glory of God. We believe that. We appreciate and love you all so much!
