Kurtlund James Mooney Funeral Expens

Kurtlund James Mooney was a vibrant young man who touched many lives in Hawaii and around the world. A loving, down to earth and humble human being. Kurt as many knew him was a talented Pianist who never had anything to say about anyone.On Monday, July 31, 2017 after not being heard from or seen since July 17th his sister (living on the mainland) put out a call for help in looking for Kurt. After contacting the Honolulu Police Department they would go to Kurts apartment in Honolulu where they unfortunately would find him and Sammy (his baby, his friend, his cherished dog). Sammy was alive and now in good hands but unfortunately Kurts time here on earth has passed.Kurts siblings are arriving in Honolulu 8/1 and now have the burden of financial expenses that are unexpected. The costs include unexpected travel and of course the related funeral and burial expense.Over the years Kurt has touched and impacted so many lives here in Hawaii and abroad through his music and caring personality. Most recently you'd find him entertaining around Honolulu playing the piano including downstairs of Hula's Bar and Lei Stand (One of his favorite hangouts). Kurt will be missed by so many.
