Benji's Bili

My son Ben was born in late April 2017. He had higher bilirubin at birth, but his yellowing color stuck around till now, accompanied by enlarged liver, and liver specialists at our local hospital Albany Med think it is Biliary Atresia, a disease where the bile ducts dissolve away. We may need help to pay for necessary surgery to be done Friday at Boston Children's Hospital, which diagnoses Biliary Atresia or no and then the GI rerouting needed to fix it. We are currently waiting on if insurance will cover the procedure Friday which can hold it up if it does not. It is urgent to be done soon which is why this GoFundMe is started in case insurance doesn't and that prevents surgery.
