House destroyed

Hi if you don’t know us. I’m Lia and I have a lovely family ! Two children and their mom(my fiancé)(krystal, jay and day) On Monday may 4th 2020 around 2:30 am I heard a loud “boom”, so I woke my family up got us all in the bathroom. We waited for the storm to pass. (Thinking it was a tornado at the time I didn’t go check outside etc). We went to bed and 6;00 am my dad woke us up banging on our window, saying our house was not visible from the road as usual, (on his way to work he passes our house )go outside to find the biggest tree had fallen on our front side of the house  and the roof top and we had no idea!!! My first thought was “my sons room is literally right there” it’s so scary to know my son was lying right there when it happened and it would have still been too late. On the other side , the landlord isn’t helping much due to trying to wait and file on her insurance which is taking time. We have been  in a hotel since Monday morning. However we are okay and we are going to make it work some way or another. We have to move, they haven’t confirmed that just yet but it will take time to get the tree off the house And the roof of the porch to determine the real damage. We are looking to move ASAP. Like within days would be a blessing but weeks is reasonable , This will cover a deposit, first and last months rent, as well as A uhaul truck to move our belongings. Food. A few more hotel nights until
