Hi! I’m Cain Kaufman, a Year 11 student at Horsforth School in Leeds, and in Summer 2026 I have an amazing opportunity to help the communities in rural Borneo with the social enterprise, Camps International; and I would be incredibly grateful for your support to help make it happen!

This 4-week expedition is so much more than just a trip abroad. I’ll be working with local communities and taking part in vital environmental and conservation projects. Some of the activities I will be privileged to take part in include:

The total cost of the trip is roughly £5000 , which covers travel, food, basic accommodation, equipment, and project materials. I’m already planning fundraising activities and doing part-time work to raise as much as I can myself – but I would love a bit of help to reach my target.

This is a once in a lifetime chance for me to develop new skills, grow in confidence, and make a real difference to people’s lives and the planet. Every donation, no matter how small brings me one step closer to Borneo and helps support long term, meaningful change in communities that truly need it.
