Car Wreck and Medical Bills

My name is Autumn Forehand. A few weeks ago my dad was in a car wreck; he has broken bones in his neck and back. He also has cracked ribs on both sides. My dad is the backbone of this family (no bad pun intended). He is the most hardworking individual that I know. He is the reason that we have had a roof over our heads and food to eat. He takes care of my grandmother- a 92 year old woman who has lost both legs from bad circulation (diabetes). My dad is unable to go to work at the moment; some days he can barely get out of bed. He will not be going back to work for another week or two. Unfortunately, the wreck happened weeks ago. Even with my minimum wage job, we are unable to pay the bills. We are running out of groceries, and I worry that we won't be able to replenish them as needed.My dad is the strongest person I know. He can carry any burden and would give the shirt off his back. He has conquered trials that I could not fathom.But he came to me last night with the look of a broken man. You see I'm leaving in a matter of weeks for my second year at the university of Virginia. I will not be here to lift my grandmother out of bed and take care of her. I will not be here to cook or clean or comfort my dad. I will also not have the job that I have at home to help financially.All pride aside, I just want my family to be okay. I don't know what else to do. Any amount would help. Not considering the insane medical bills, all money would go toward the bills for this month (rent, power, etc.) and groceries. My dad has always been a huge inspiration for me to achieve my goals, and my grandmother has always taken care of me and loved me when he could not be home. This is all I know to do at this point to give back. It would mean the world if any amount at all was raised. Thank you ❤️
