Craigs Journey

Donation protected
Our beloved family member, Craig has been
being treated for Metastatic Prostate Cancer for 4 years.
It goes without saying this has been a tough battle but one that he has taken in stride and with a fighting spirit.
Until recently, Craig was working as a nurse for the Salt Lake County Jail, a job that he loves and proudly holds dear. We are especially proud of the hard work and efforts he put forth to earn his nursing degree from the University of Utah while simultaneously being a stay at home father and husband. In order to continue his fight he had to  place his health at the forefront and is currently on medical leave, with strong hope and desire to return to the field of medicine and continue to serve our community. Sadly, we hear of these cancer warriors all too often, so let us share with you a bit about our amazing father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend......
Craig is the most generous, caring, loving person that would literally do anything for anyone... family, friend or a stranger on the street. He has the biggest and most tender heart that we have ever seen, many share in the same sentiments as he holds many dear and wonderful friendships in his life. He LOVES big!!!!
He has been known to sacrifice of his own finances, situation, and other means for the betterment of others. He has always been there for many of us and many we may not even know, that is a common trait of his. He deserves so much out of life! He enjoys everything outdoors... he loves fishing, hunting, camping and has found so much joy and solace in the outdoors while enduring his battle. He always has a smile on his face, even on the days that are more difficult for him. Through his battle, he has shouldered so much in order to protect those who love him. His beautiful wife and incredibly brave son have been by his side the entire time... they have not reached out to anyone asking for help or handouts. They have handled this on their own this far. He has a wonderful network of friends and co-workers (he considers as friends) on his side and cheering him on, we as the family are so grateful for each and everyone one of you. He has been surrounded with love and support by so many, something we know means everything to him.
As you can image, not being able to work and facing additional treatments in his fight to live, has placed additional stresses and financial burdens on him and his family during this difficult time. We would love to help relieve as much of this burden as we can and afford him the further the opportunities to receive treatment to fight and win!!!!!
So we are asking for any amount that can be donated in honor of our hero Craig and help him with the piling medical bills and to alleviate the financial stresses and burdens surrounding them at this time. We need help to get Craig more treatments so that he may be here with his wife, son, family and friends. He is far to young to have endured as much as he has and if you know him, you understand all we have mentioned of his character and of his heart......if you dont know him, believe us when we say, this world is a better place with Craig in it!
We ask for many prayers from everyone to get him through this journey.
