Build a well

A couple months back i attended a seminar by Hope worldwide Utah on the Rohingya crisis. Although i was already familiar with the oppression and harsh circumstances that they have been facing, I learned so much more about their struggle and was left with a serious desire to do something to help their cause. 
At this seminar one of the many topics I learned a little more about was their lack of access to clean water. I learned that in order to obtain clean water (for cooking, bathing, drinking, , etc) the people in these camps have to walk unimaginable distances daily . This includes pregnant women, small children and the elderly. They are in desperate need as the water that is near to them is contaminated and not suitable for use even for bathing. Although they will be displaced for quite some time, helping them with this basic need would make a huge difference in their daily lives.
Having lost my beautiful brother in 16' I often think of the things he wanted to do and try to brainstorm ways to fulfill his good intentions.
My amazing brother, Raheem Muhammad khan, May Allah have mercy on him, ameen, felt deeply for those suffering in the world. He spoke of wanting to figure out a way to distribute food more efficiently amongst those in need, of one day having his own farm and being able to share what he would harvest, of ways to produce nice clothing at a minimal cost for those less fortunate and so on. Sadly, In his lifetime, my brother wasn't able to fulfill these goals , May He still be rewarded for his intention, ameen.
I am writing this with the hope of helping those in need, sharing the opportunity to give and be amongst those who benefit humankind & also with the intention of fulfilling an act which I know my beloved brother would have been eager to take part in.
I hope that together as a community of caring individuals we can raise the needed amount to build a well for our brothers and sisters in humanity that are going through very trying times..

Irrespective of faith, I think this is something that most would agree with.  Even if it's only a few cents you can spare, every penny can make a difference.
