Emile's Road To Recovery

Donation protected
Hi Everybody! We just wanted to start off by thanking everyone for the floods of kind, inspirational, and motivating words! We really feel like this is aiding in a quick and gentle recovery. So, with that being said, for any of you that don't know yet; on Sunday morning, July 23rd, we were hit with divesting news that our brother/son/dad/uncle Emile, was in a single car rollover on a gravel road. Emile was ejected from the vehicle and found roughly 20ft from the vehicle in the middle of the road. Emile was airlifted by Stars Helicopter into one of the best hospitals around! It was quick to see that Emile landed directly on his face, resulting in extensive damage to a large area of his face. Words can't describe how hard it is to see someone you love, being more unrecognizable, than we would have every expected, walking into that emergency room. Plastic surgery was ordered within the first couple of hours, in order to save the live tissue in his face and Emile underwent reconstructive surgery in order to repair his nose and lips. We also found out that Emile eded up having a multitude of injuries, including a compound fracture in his femur, a portion of his teeth and jaw broken AND his neck broken in two spots, along with a multitude of other fractions throughout various parts of his body. The surgeons immediately screwed a halo around his head, and shoulders, in order to keep his neck still. Unfortunately, he will have to keep the Halo on for 3 months at least.
Emile is currently lying sedated in the ICU, he is in serious, but stable condition. The doctors have installed a breathing apparatus and a feeding tube, until he is able to do both on his own. Any one that knows him well, knows that he is funny, loving, hard working, considerate, kind, soft hearted, but most of all, TOUGH!! He will get through this, we know it! Despite all the bad that has a occurred, the silver lining in it all, is that he has movement in his limbs; which is a miracle, according to the Trauma nurse! OH, and that he has a really cute plastic surgeon (he just doesn't know it yet!) AND last but not least, HE IS ALIVE....that's all that matters in the end!

Please help support Emile in his LONG LONG road to recovery, for he will not be able to work for quite some time, therefor, not being able to pay his every day living expenses, including helping support his 5 year old son, for his mom will also be taking several days off of work, to make sure she is by his side while he tries to recover both physically and mentally! He will need his family his family by his side through this whole journey, and we plan on helping him heal in the quickest most positive way that we can! Thank you everybody! Seriously, even if you don't think it is much, anything will help him through this time, so he will not be stressing about finances on top of everything else! We feel like he will heal faster, without having to worry as much! Much much love to you all...we are feeling the positive energy given our way! Jessica, Madisyn, Veronica, Alana, and the rest of his family
