For My Parents, Stuart & Danielle

Many of you know my parents, Stuart and Danielle Anderson , AKA: Stu and Dani. As most of you know, my Dad was partially paralysed in a motorcycle accident when we were babies. His right arm had to be amputated (many years later) and has endured what they call 'phantom nerve pain' ever since. He was ands always will be our Mr Mom. While Mom enjoyed her career being a full time business woman, Dad went to all our basketball games, track meets, fundraisers, you name it, he was there. I'm sorry to say that the last 8 to 10 years have been quite challenging for them, both medically, and financially. It began when the recession hit in 2008, and Mom lost her job of many years due to a down sizing of the organization, shortly followed the foreclosure of the beautiful house we grew up in. Since then, they have rallied a bit and are renting an adorable little house in Glendale, AZ . Unfortunately, Dad was recently diagnosed with skin cancer, a large tumor on what is left of his right arm, and started a new form of chemo on July 19. The cost of this new drug is not covered completely by his insurance and supplements and the cost is horrendous. Additionally, Mom was advised to have a procedure done that would prevent her existing condition (precancerous endometrial hyperplasia, or polyps on her uterus) from becoming more serious, but her portion of her insurance co-pay was out of reach so she cancelled the surgery that she desperately needs, almost a year ago. Now, the symptoms are advanced and it is urgent that she have this surgery ASAP. In Arizona, health insurance costs have increased by 116% in the last 2 years and with the cost of the surgeon, the hospital, and the anesthesiologist, the cost is far beyond what they can afford. My brother and I would like to invite anyone that can assist to donate to this GoFundMe account so my Mom can have this very necessary surgery followed by what ever treatment she will need, and my Dad can continue the 4 month chemo program. Paul and I know they hate to put this personal information out here, but we need to humbly ask for help.
