Cancer Treatment

Donation protected

September 19th 2016, I was diagnosed with stage 4 mastasis adenocarcinoma of 3.9cm tumor in the stomach. Basically stage 4 gastric cancer that spread outside of my stomach and had a couple of cancerous ulcers in the lower esophagus and to the abdominal wall, back side. I started chemotherapy on October 19th 2016, my doctor had me on 5FU with oxiplation every two weeks. On January 19th i had a PET scan, and my tumor shrank to 3.4cm the smaller cancerous nodes where still all over inside but were slowly shrinking. Unfortunately, I developed nueropathy fairly early and had to go off the oxiplation in February 2017, after 16 rounds of 5FU and oxiplation. I was switched to Ramibcuab immunotherapy chemotherapy treatment after my a third PET scan and biospy confirmed a krukenberg tumor on my left ovary. What this is still gastric cancer but.for reasons known to doctors it went into my ovary. The survival rate is 2%,...i went from my original prognosis 4% gastric at stage4 , which in the beginning I was told 6months- 1yr. I made it past 6 months. That is big! I am grateful and blessed. In June 2017, I started my new immunotherapy chemotherapy, I have had 4 cycles. We hit a wall... I was admitted to the ER later in the day after my 4th cycle. For the pass month I was dealing with the side effects of treatment. Bleeding and acsetes fuild in my abdomen. July 13th I had 2.3 liters of fuild drained, and I had a CT scan, while in the ER. The surgeons discovers a 3.14cm third tumor on my right pelvic ovary just below my belly button. This third tumor was not visible at my last PET scan so it's mass and size is growing rapidly. My NEW prognosis 4months...my doctor said, he would be surprised if I made it to January 2018. Surgery from the beginning was never an option because the cancer was throughout the abdominal wall. The surgeons won't attempt it because I probably won't get up from the operating table. So, I can only pray that it isn't in any of my organs and THAT has to be good for a fighting chance. So who am I... I am a fighter and I will try everything and anything to live. I am a 40 yrs old, a mother of three (2 boys, 1 girl), I have my dog cats and my fiance. Everything I am and want to do I hope and have faith that I can get through this! When your diagnosed you are constantly in research mode for your life, what is going to be needed to get you through the symptoms and nausea, vomiting, etc. It is not a pretty picture. You change every aspect in your life ...daily. Unfortunately, when your sick your options of holding a steady job for treatment and extra medical expenses can take a toll on families. This is why I have started my, GOFundME. To help cover the costs of treatment, vegan raw diet, medical supplies and holistic medicines, guardianship law services in case I do pass away (my children need to be able to bury me and try to get by with a guardian, they are under 18yrs). This is a horrible disease and I pray for all those going through it! Keep HOPE and Faith alive believe in GOD and FIGHT stay strong. If your able donate please do anything helps. God bless.
