DANY'S FIGHT AGAINST CANCER !!!
My name is Anthony and I am staring this fundraiser to raise money for my beautiful fiancee Dany "SUPERMOM" Roeun. I am self-employed and I have been doing my best to manage our financial burdens ,but I must now dedicate more time at home to take care of my family. I want her to not have not to worry about our 3 young kids,(daycare fees, rent,bills,groceries and medical expenses). Emotionally it has been hard on her and she needs to relax and take care of herself. She is the best partner and mother anyone could ask to have in their lives. Mostly she is a great person and friend and many who have crossed her path would say she is an "AMAZING PERSON. She is full of life and is truly a "WONDER WOMAN". On December 2016 during the holiday season she found out she had breast cancer stage 2 in her left breast... This news devastated her and our family...it was very shocking and painful to accept. On January 5th 2017 Dany started chemo treatments she was very optimistic she could and would fight it...The treatments were very painful for her yet she kept on fighting all while taking care of her 3 young kids. After the second chemo and biopsy the doctors found cancer in her lungs (little dot) but after the 2nd treatment that same dot had melted due to the chemo... The doctors feared that it had spread in the lungs but since it was inconclusive they continued to treat for the breast. On april 21st 2017 Dany completed her chemotherapy and with success the treatments melted the cancer. The next step was to take a break and relax and in a months time return to see the doctors to make a plan of attack whether to operate on the breast or not. During her well deserved time off friends and family funded a trip for her to enjoy with her kids. She went to Disneyland one of her lifelong dreams became a reality when she got to meet Cinderella. It was truly something she needed to relax her mind from all the pain of the treatments. She was so happy her hair was growing back and her outcome on life looked bright. Upon return she had an apointment with the doctors to plan the next step. She had to do more scans to see if it had comeback in the lungs... Negative was the diagnosis,making her feel more reassured she could have surgery and resume her normal life. On July 16th 2017,while doing groceries at costco with the kids ,she felt agonising pain in her head, immediately we left and rushed her to Sacre-Coeur emergency. Several hours after she had done tests and scans, she was told she has CANCER cells in the brain. The news devastated her, thinking she was goin to die right away. The doctors told her to stay positive. After several scans biopsies mri's they confirmed that the cancer had found its way in her brain and had returned in the lungs... this news brought the family to tears and sadness... Hospitalized for 5 days was the hardest on her,and the kids not seeing their mother 5 days was very emotional. After meeting with doctors the plan of attack was surgery was not an option...it could lead to paralysis or brain damage. The only option is radiotherapy and chemo again to reduce the cancer and control it. 10 radiotherapy treatments at Rosemont-Maisonneuve Oncologie Department are needed,the 1st one starts today. After that chemo and then we do not know what is ahead for her. The doctors told short term is positive,medium term is positive, long term is undetermined... I pray everyday LONG TERM will be POSITIVE, she needs to enjoy her life and the life of her kids and be able to live life to the fullest.!!! Any financial support is welcomed and emotional support as well. Positivty is what Dany needs and so far the response from friends and family have been overwhelming and appreciated.
