Fundraise for Malawi

This year I have been lucky enough to be selected to travel to Malawi in November with the Betty Cunningham Trust. As a team, we will be travelling to the Kaponda district and in order to make the trip, we need to raise funds. Throughout our time in the village, we will provide essential items and help to develop the schools and health clinics that the Betty Cunningham Trust have built in past years. By continuing the significant difference that the trust has already made we hope to improve the lives of the people of the Dambo region furthermore and to aid those who have not yet had the help that they need. So far, in Kaponda, the Betty Cunningham trust have already achieved a great deal, by building two pre-schools staffed with full time teachers, a health clinic with a full time nurse and a workshop enabling villagers to make clothes for themselves and the children. I am aiming to raise £2000 through various fundraising events but mainly challenging myself to cycling 50 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh on the 10th September. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and would help contribute towards a fantastic cause.
