Our baby girl, Lanee, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on June 6, 2011. We were thrown into a world of unknowns and heartache. Lanee handled it like a champ. We are thankful we have insurance, but the bills have piled up. A lot of people think it's just the medical bills that take its toll, but it's the gas to go to and from the cancer clinic. The changes in Lanee's appetite which increases our grocery bill. The increases in the utility bills and then the medical bills. We have done our best to work with the hospital and doctors to pay what we can.Lanee just finished treatment on August 11, 2013 and is doing well. Now that Lanee is finished with treatment, the collections are becoming ruthless. We need help, plain and simple.
