Headstone For DJ❤️

My son DJ died 8 years ago on July 23, 2009 at 34 years old. He fought for his life with (IgA) nephropathy. Sometimes referred to as Berger’s disease, IgA nephropathy is a kidney disease that causes the kidneys to become inflamed. He was born with this disease but symptoms didn't show until his 30's and his kidneys were destroyed. DJ also fought valiantly an addiction to prescription pain medication. A combination of his meds for kidneys, high blood pressure, pain and depression took him from us by accidental overdose. DJ would do anything for his friends and family, he gave of himself with all his heart! He is buried in Anchorage Memorial Cemetary where we go to visit him when our hearts need comfort. He has a tiny headstone that is wearing out, and in his honor, his family wishes to replace it with one larger and more personal for all of us who loved Deej. But we can't do this alone, we need your help in any way you can! Any financial contributions will help to purchase a larger longer lasting personalized headstone and have it installed. Please be a part of helping us reach our goal so we can make this happen before first snowfall. Let's do this for ourselves and for DJ's memory. I will post updates, photos and new headstone plans.
