Denver's Recovery Fund

Early Thursday morning, on my way to the barn in Elk Grove, I found a puppy sitting on the side of the road by a pile of junk. I stopped and called to him and quickly found out that he was incredibly friendly, attached to people, and unwilling to put any weight on his right hind leg so I put him in my car. We had a vet appointment already scheduled for 3 of our horses so when I got to the barn with the puppy we decided to bring him along. Marty, our vet, generously offered to x-ray the puppy and we discovered he had a broken femur. The puppy is now in the care of the VCA Bradshaw Animal Hospital. He had a high fever from pain/stress but they will operate tomorrow and put pins in his leg. Any help for his medical expenses will be greatly appreciated so we can find 'Denver' a new home.
