This week, I submitted another service request about the foul smell in my apartment. I finally saw mold in the bathroom that I believe has been inside the walls since I moved in in February 2024. The complex confirmed that there has been a leak behind the mirror since it was initially installed during construction.

Right now, the entire bathroom counter, drywall, cabinet, and floor are being replaced after I reported seeing mold—after complaining of smelling it for months. The complex has offered me to move to another (larger) unit for the same rate and to sign a new lease, but due to my disabled status, I do not have the funds to move or to get the medical treatment I need right away. More importantly, school starts on August 13th and we are preparing for an 18th birthday on August 29th.

You know that God is working on me and this isolation and pride, so this is tough to do, but I need all the help I can get right now, so every dollar donated will directly help us out of this situation.

A portion of the funds are to pay for an attorney and for work on the car that we are sharing for school and work for my son. Hopefully, I have spread enough goodwill in my lifetime to have this work out.
