Mum's Breast Cancer

On the 15th March 2017, my beautiful mum was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer after finding dimpling on her breast. The doctors told us after many tests and biopsies that She had 2 lumps at 4cm and 2cm in her left breast. On the 28th April 2017, mum underwent major surgery to have a mastectomy and a few lymph nodes taken out for precaution. They found that the lumps had grown to 5cm and 9cm. When we went back for the results 2 weeks later, they told us that the lymph node they took out for testing contained cancer. She was then urgently taken back for surgery to remove the rest so it could not spread around her body. They upgraded her from a stage 1 multi focal lobular cancer to Stage 3 multi focal lobular cancer. Mum has completed 2 sessions of her 6 chemotherapy session, after which she will need 6 weeks of radiotherapy as well, during which time she is not allowed to be at work and is not earning any money. My mum is my world and my best friend, seeing her in pain, bruised, scarred and sick from the chemotherapy is heart breaking. She has lost her hair now and her eyebrows are thinning quickly. I want to give something back to her and make her feel whole again, so I would like to raise money to be able to pay for her to have a wig made and have her eyebrows tattooed on so she can still feel herself. Wigs made with real hair are not cheap and with the eyebrow tattooing it would cost around £700, anything left over I'd love to treat her to a weekend away to forget how ill she is and boost her spirit! so I'm asking for your help by sponsoring me, my sister, my best friend Charlotte Heard and my two little brothers Marcus and Mitchell to walk 25km around the river Thames on Saturday 9th September to allow me to help my mum. Everyone who knows me will know that I hate exercise and this walk will take an average of 5 constant hours of walking, so wish me luck and thankyou in advance❤️
