Jessy's Medical Fund

On July 18, Jessy was unfortunately diagnosed with complex atypical hyperplasia of her uterus. Studies show that a percentage of women with this finding on biopsy, may either have concurrent endometrial cancer that was not detected or develop cancer if this condition is left untreated. The recommendation from her physician, who performed the biopsy, is to undergo a hysterectomy before there is further progression. 
This unfortunately, only adds to the already accumulating medical bills from her chronic disease. She will be seeing a gynocology oncologist as soon as we can arrange an appointment and have enough funds available. 

For those of you who are unaware, in Febrary 2015, Jessy was taken to the emergency room due to decreased function of the right side of her body. After extensive tests and bloodwork, it was determined that Jessy had multiple sclerosis. By the end of the first night in the hospital, Jessy was unable to walk or even sign her own name.  Slowly, after a period of several months, Jessy regained most of her mobility back. 
It was decided that it was not in her best interest to return to work as stress can trigger an increase in symptoms and even another relapse. Jessy still has frequent flare-ups that can last days to even weeks. 

Currently Jessy does not qualify for Medicaid in the state of Florida. We are pursing disability but have been denied due to the relapsing and remitting nature of her disease. 
Jessy's spouse works to pay bills for the household but can not afford monthly premiums for health insurance because Jessy falls into the coverage gap. All medical expenses, at this time, are out of pocket.
