Help with storage fees

I recently moved into my new room after 2+ years of living in a shelter. I am on public assistance and unemployment due to the pandemic. I thought that PA was going to cover my storage expenses since I was In a shelter, but once they found out I had some income they didn't cover it.
I am trying to scrape together some money so that do not lose my things to auction. 
Any help will be greatly appreciated
