Spud Needs A New Hip

❤Meet Spud!The sweetest and most loving dog I have ever known. He is turning 1 next week (we share the same birthday!), and over the past 9 months of having him he has become my best friend and loyal partner in crime. A few weeks ago we noticed that he seemed uncomfortable when standing up, especially after a run or long walk.We went to the vet in hopes of getting hip and joint problem prevention ideas. Once we arrived, the vet was concerned about an arch in his back so she took some X-rays. The news we heard was devastating. The X-rays showed that Spud only has half of his left hip. His right hip is also missing a portion of the hip. So unfortunately, Spud was diagnosed with hip dysplasia before he was 1.While both hips are problematic, Spuds left hip is in dire need of some love, meaning a TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT. This is Spud Bud's best chance to be the very best Spud Bud there is :) and he's a great bud ❤Thank you for caring ❤
