Pathways to Stem

This is Brioni.  I know her very well and I also know her family.  She is an academically gifted 10 year old whose list of achievements is longer than my list of moving violations.  She is a straight A student and hasn’t gotten a B in 5 years.  She was selected by the Commander in Chief of the Young Astronauts to represent her school at the National Space Center in Washington DC and is in all advance placement classes for all of her subjects.  She also received the highest score SBAC score in Norwalk last year.  And now she was chosen by the National Youth Leadership Forum to attend Pathways to STEM in Boston, MA.  It’s a multi-day workshop for the next generation of innovators, engineers, doctors, software developers and scientists.  Brioni wants to be an engineer and is dying to go to this.  But just like many of the programs she gets accepted into based on academic merit, it ain’t free, not even close.  She needs a sponsor (or a group of sponsors) who can help send her to this program.
