Courtney and Kevin's Healing Fund

I should start by introducing myself. My name is Caitlin. I'm starting this campaign for my sister, Courtney, and brother-in-law, Kevin. As some of you may know, Courtney and Kevin suffered a tragic loss very recently. On July 13th, they lost their precious baby girl Bella after a very complicated 8-month pregnancy. We've all been struck with grief and a feeling of helplessness at this time and the outpouring from friends and family has been so deeply appreciated and overwhelming. Many of you have reached out to me asking what you can do, what you can send, how you can help etc, etc. So I've started this fund. It's recently come to my attention that the couple plans to go back to work immediately. Funds were tight going into having a child, but at least then there was something to make the struggle worthwhile. At this time, all the couple deserves is time together with family without the pressure of hospital bills and a looming overhead to weigh down their already heavy hearts, but they can't. THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN :) I have faith we can raise enough to cover their overhead for a couple months with a little extra extra for them to take a nice trip together. They really like Canada......you'll have to ask them about that one..... $5000. That's all I'm asking. Save the money you would spend sending flowers and help give them the gift of time together. Do not feel pressured to give a lot. As a broke adult living in LA, I get it. If you can't give the world, it's okay. $1, $5, $10.... EVERY DONATION COUNTS. I will PERSONALLY find a way to show up for anyone who can help. In some show? I'll buy a ticket and bring a friend. You have a charity event? I'm there. Kevin is not my biological brother, but considering how well he's taken care of my sister, I would jump in front of a bus for him. This is a man who tore down his man cave within an hour of a positive pregnancy test, in order to turn it into a nursery. This man deserves time with his wife to grieve their loss. I don't know two people in this world who deserved a child more. My heart breaks for them. Thank you again to all who have reached out and thanks in advance for helping me reach this goal for them.
