Widowed Officer

My dear friend Melissa Hill passed away today at the young age of 38, she had been battling MS and it's side effects for years...Leaving behind the love of her life her husband Brendon of 15 years and their 2 beautiful children, Gerard 12 and Katherine 10. Melissa had been out on disability for years because of her MS leaving Brendon a Middlesex County Corrections Officer to be the sole provider for the family, but with her multiple hospitalizations he had to take a lot of time off to take care of the kids and their finances have suffered and to top it off Melissa did not have life insurance. This family has had such heartache, Melissa lost her brother 4 years ago, Brendon lost his brother this past January and as I said Melissa was in and out of the hospital and missed so much of her children's lives... it broke her heart this past June when she missed Katherine's 5th grade graduation. I know it meant the world to her to be able to co-coach Kat's softball team with Brendon and I this past spring at Holbrook. It's a memory her daughter will cherish and I know her son Gerard will cherish his memories of him and her down at the stables with their horse Jinx. Please help this family as much as you can, Brendon has a long road ahead of him and can use all the help he can. It's a new chapter of his life as a single dad, and I pray for him everyday... please help this brother in blue and his family... thank you
