Alex's Medical Bills

On Monday July 10th, 2017, Alex Curry (left) was on his way home from a friends house when he was involved in a head-on collision with another driver. The other driver is recovering as is Alex's brother, Jesse, who was in the passenger seat of Alex's car but Alex was lifelined via helicopter to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Alex's brain was hemorrhaging and he had a subdural hematoma. Both of his legs are broken and his left foot is crushed. The paramedics had to induce a coma when the picked him up at the scene. He's sedated and on pain meds and every two hours they turn off his sedation to give him time to have the medicine wear off so they can perform a neuro exam. He is in really bad shape. They have a ventillator down his trachea breathing for him. The left side of his skull was removed temporarily so the swelling in Alex's brain would go down and they are closely monitoring that. Alex Curry is a young and brilliant man. He is the most caring and selfless person. His heart is so huge. He's brave. he's amazing an he has so much potential.
