Hello,
First, we sincerely hope life is treating you well in these troublesome times we're all in.

My name is Tim, and the picture I've added here is my mom, Retta.  We want to share with you our situation with you, and then if your heart speaks to you to help us (regardless of how much or how little), every dollar really helps and would mean the world to us if we could be relieved from tremendous stress.

We know we're asking a lot for our end goal, but we believe that with God, and your help, a miracle can come to fruition. We moved here to our property in Southern Oregon in 1983. When we moved here, we signed loan papers for a property that came with 6 houses (which 3 are occupied by family), and 15 mobile homes. Today (38 years later), we still have a mortgage, but for even more than what the purchase price for the property was. We've had to refinance for several unseen things, and today, we're finding it quite difficult to be able to refinance yet once again, and with no light at the end of the tunnel as to when this will ever end.

This property has been my life, my home and my source of income for 38 years now as well as over 25 years for my wife, and 10 years for one of my sons. By dedicating my life to helping my parents run the business, I (we), have no apprenticeship or "official" training in any of the skills we've learned during our time here on the property, and we have no IRA, Roth IRA, 401K, or any form of retirement we can look forward to. Over the past 8 years, my wife and one of my sons have been able to take over and run the business, as I have been fighting Social Security for disability, due to my medical history and how it has progressively gotten worse over the years to the point I am no longer able to work.

Should anything happen to my mom who's at the age of 90 now (and hopefully still going strong), we are in no financial condition that would allow us to qualify for a loan of this size, and in that case, we would lose everything. We are hoping to raise money to help pay down the mortgage (or even pay it off if possible), on our family business property where we live, so that should it falls on us to secure a loan for the outstanding balance, it would hopefully make it easier for us to qualify for a loan to secure our home, family business, our livelihood, our family's future.

Please help share this fundraiser with as many people as you possibly can. Your help would be greatly appreciated, and with the effects this economy is having on so many people, combined with the COVID-19 Pandemic we are faced with, the lower we can get this mortgage, the more it would potentially help 21 families keep their housing, not only through the times we're living in now, but whatever hard times may come in the future.

We are humbly asking for you to help us reach our goal (for those who are able), and for those who are not able to help us with funds, we ask for you to keep us in your prayers, and again, please pass this fundraiser along to reach as many people as possible. We are So Grateful for any help you are able to give. We know we've set a large goal to reach, but we believe with God, and your help, anything is possible, and we are praying for a miracle; not just for us, but also for the families we can potentially help as needed through these trying times.  And again, your help means the world to us, and we appreciate you so much.

God Bless, and Thank You So Much for your help,
The Knotts
