I'm a keen Sea Kayaker with almost 40 years kayaking experience . I've always wanted to kayak Ireland's entire coastline and this endeavour has raised my awareness of the perils found at sea . This reminds me of those who put to sea fleeing conflict and famine with the hope of reaching safer shores for a better life . Our own Lifeboat Crews also help those in distress at sea. Medecins Sans Frontieres & the RNLI are the groups I am raising funds for on my quest . I am paddling in stages , storing my kayak along the way .
