Please Help Raise Money For Brooke

Hello! My name is Gracie Ayres. Recently my life has been touched by Cystic Fibrosis in the form of a best friend. Her name is Brooke Lynn Taylor Minks. Every four days a child is born with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a disease that primarily affects Brooke's respiratory, immune and digestive system. Brooke has been in and out of hospital for her entire life. About three weeks ago, Brooke's doctor gave her a clean bill of health and said he had never seen her any healthier. About a week ago, Brooke was rushed into emergency with pneumonia, and her lungs filled completely with fluid. I have never seen her fight with such courage and confidence. Brooke has only 5% of her lung function. Based on this, Brooke will never be able to live without oxygen and other support, if she survives this season. Brooke made the strongest decision any of us could comprehend, and decided to stop all treatments, which means that she is about to slip away from us. Due to the suddenness of all this, her family is not financially prepared for all the costs that are about to come. Before Brooke got really sick, Brooke and I discussed me shaving my hair to help earn money for her parents. I am hoping to earn $3000 as soon as possible. I will be shaving my hair when my goal has been reached. The money will go directly to Brooke's parents and will help them out more than any of us could imagine. Thank you for helping our family.
