Senior Year Of College

Being a single parent has been the most rewarding career of my life! However, trying to provide has not always been easy and up to this point I have been able to do so. My son's senior year of college however has brought some financial challenges and now I have to put my pride aside and reach out to the village to help him attain his degree. For the past three years he has been diligently working to attain his engineering degree. He's had ups and downs but I couldn't be more proud of him than I am! Due to the change in student loan laws after the housing market bubble, a student can no longer just sign for their own loans outside of subsidized loans....I co-signed his first three years and they would not let me co-sign this year. We were blessed that a family member was able to help and co-sign for most of the tuition however, we are short approximately $5,000 - It takes a village to raise a family and if there is any way that the village can come together for his senior year, there would be no way for me to express my gratitude!
