Give Women Safe Futures

As some of you may or may not know, I'm a survivor of domestic violence & stalking.  Luckily, with the support of family, friends, and Safe Futures, I was able to get out before things got a lot worse.  I have been healthy, happy, and safe now, for about three years now.  

But, not everyone is a lucky as I am.  So I want to give back, and help women who may not have the same support system that I did.   Because 1 in 4 women is assaulted by an intimate partner every year, and 1 in 7 experiences stalking in their lifetime.  

Recently, there have been two domestic related deaths local to my community.   In my line of work, as a makeup artist, I meet tons of women who tell me their stories of being assaulted and victimized.  Most people don't even realize how big of a problem this is, and how much these survivors need our help.  

In 2020, I will be donating $5 of every makeup service, towards Safe Futures.  I'm also making it my mission, on every Thursday, to raise awareness and share resources that can help someone in need.
