Study Abroad Trip to Ghana, Africa!

Hi family! This fall I will studying abroad with the University of Georgia to Ghana, Africa! I am so excited for this opportunity to experience education in our home country and to learn about Ghanaian culture. I've created this GoFundMe page for my Ghana trip because in addition to needing to pay for this experience I will also be applying to internship this fall which requires a separate set of expenses for application fees, travel funds for interviews, etc! I am very blessed to have the privilege to even travel abroad as well as apply for internship all of which will be the start of my final year of my Ph.D. program, however this all adds up very quickly, especially on a graduate student budget! So, here's where you all come in! The Ghana trip costs $4,500 (due August 1st) but I am grateful for whatever you are able and willing to pledge toward my journey. You all, my friends and family, have come to me numerous times over the years offering me support without me asking. Whether it was in helping me move, sending graduation gifts, or praying for me, you all have been there. Even in the cover picture I chose, it's a great example of my village continuing to show up for me. So I am now humbling asking for your support financially, and if that is not something that you're able to do, your prayers for this process and experience are invaluable!
