Many of you know that Linda Blankenship (my mom)has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Linda has worked hard all of her life to provide for my brother and I. She has been through many medical challenges, yet has always risen to the top with God's help. She is always the one to give to others, her time, love, money and devotion. Linda (mom) needs OUR help now!
Linda will have a double mastectomy on July 24, 2017. During surgery, they will discover more about the stage and intensity of the cancer. They will find out if it is in her lymph nodes, which would "upgrade" it to stage 3. Following surgery, she will be undergoing aggressive chemotherapy as well.
Having to set a goal, we chose $5,000, but it was just a number to put in. There is no way to know what may be needed for medical bills and other unknowns during this time. As you might also know, she didn't want me to set this up, cause that's mom :)
