Since the creation of Bud and Roach Ent., we have had the privilege of meeting some amazing individuals. One of the first people we met was Johnny Gerosimo, an amazing singer songwriter who quickly grew to become one of our dearest friends. He has been with us since the beginning, and has graced us not only with his incredible talents, but with his love and friendship as well.
Recently, Johnny left New York to New Orleans where a management group interested in his music awaited him. Upon arriving, sickness struck and he was diagnosed with Cancer. He has since returned home to New York where he is receiving treatment. As we all know, chemotherapy is not in any way shape or form inexpensive. This fund-raiser was not something that was asked of us by Johnny, but something that we asked him permission to do. Although doctors say Johnny has but a 50% chance of survival, we have found that love and support heals the most deadliest of diseases. Johnny is a part of our family, as he is yours, and has not yet seen the peak of his creativity and life's accomplishments. With our help he can.
There are no levels to donate. There are no incentives or prizes for what you will give. Johnny's life and survival will be compensation enough. He is a legend in the making, and this is just another obstacle in his life that he WILL overcome, on the road to happiness and success. If you can find it in your heart to donate and assist his family in this time of need, you will receive good karma and love from all of us. If/when we reach our goal of $5k, his family will receive the names of everyone who helped make this possible. Life has a way of knocking us around. It's good to know there are people out there who care enough to help keep us grounded.
