Welcome to Diane's Butterfly Fund!

For those of you who don't know me, I am Jessica, Diane's "Best Sister". We've been best friends since we were 5 and living across the street from each other on Layton in Rancho Cucamonga. Luckily, I am also a cancer researcher and I have been honored to travel this journey with Diane thus far. Now, I am enlisting your help so that we may fight against cancer together with Diane.

For those of you who may not know Diane closely, she is a beautiful, intelligent, and loving mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend, who also happens to be the most genuine and kind person you will ever meet. Diane was recently diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. While scary, this cancer is extremely treatable! Diane will be undergoing surgery to take out her thyroid in early September, and she will start a radioactive iodine treatment soon after. These two treatments will ensure that Diane is as healthy as can be. After going to several appointments with Diane, I know she is in the best medical hands God can provide.

As you may well know, Diane LOVES butterflies! And it just so happens that the thyroid is shaped exactly like a butterfly! With that in mind, I am happy to present Diane's Butterfly Fund. As a cancer researcher and family member to many who have battled cancer, I know that cancer not only affects a person's health and soul, it attacks their resources. Cancer is expensive. Therefore, I am asking, if you can, please consider donating to Diane's Butterfly Fund. Every dollar counts and will make a huge difference for Diane and her family.

Cancer is scary. Anyone who has battled cancer themselves or alongside a family member or friend knows the anxiety and fear that comes with it. So, I ask you to please pray for Diane and for her family. Any battle is easier with an army beside you. Please consider joining Diane's Butterfly Army, donating to her Butterfly Fund, and taking a moment each day to send her healing thoughts and positive energy. Every thought and every prayer is enormously impactful.

Many thanks to you and your family! Diane is already on the road to recovery and with your help, she will be able to say she is a survivor very soon.

With Love,
Diane's Best Sister Jessie
