Rafael Suarez Local 831 Family Fund

Recently the Union Brothers & Sisters at Local 831 learned that we had lost one of our own suddenly and tragically. It's hard to believe some of us saw Rafael just the other day among us. He was a good journeyman and even better family man. He loved his family dearly and expressed that clearly to us. He had said he wanted to spend more time out with his family having fun and enjoying life. Rafael Suarez will be remembered as a great friend to many of us. To some of us like myself and the circle of guys he was often surrounded by Rafa was considered an extension of our own family. We looked out for Rafa and he looked out for us. We worked together, ate together, shared laughs and memories together. Rafa will be best remembered by all his family and the extension of his family that he found within the Union. He will be dearly missed, God Bless Rafael and his family in this time of hardship.
