Stroke Rehabilitation for my father

Those of you who know me, know that I can never ask for help. For me to be posting this means that my family is in serious trouble.
My father has been ill for quite some time. He had a stroke several years ago and then they found cancer while he was here rehabilitating. He's had a long road and is suffering from severe neuropathy, but that is not what we are looking at today. My father suffered another severe stroke Sunday and is currently at the UW hospital. This time it has completely rendered the right side of him useless. Our wonderful medical system, as he is on Medicare, is kicking him out of the hospital at UW, where they have a state-of-the-art stroke rehabilitative in house hospital . I have been at the hospital all week fighting with them to keep him in house so he can properly rehabilitate. I have lost that battle today.
What this means now is they are kicking him out to a nursing home as there is no way my mother and I can lift him and both of us work so we cannot be home if he falls. Mind you, he cannot even walk.
UW said if he recovers enough in the skilled nursing home then he might be allowed to come back and get the rehabilitative services he needs there. Until then he needs eight weeks of recovery at a nursing home. This will cost my mother $200 per day. What is happening is that UW doesn't want to pay or do the right thing, which is give the proper care to my father because they don't get enough money from Medicare.
My mother is already severely in debt. I've been in grad school and have been living off fumes for the past 3 years with no savings. Most of her earnings go to his care.
For those of you who have been in this position, you know the stress and emotional devastation that one feels when seeing a loved one struggle. My mother is the most hard-working, generous, loving soul that I have ever known. Please help fund my dad's rehabilitative care.
