Hello All,
I am usually the person other people turn to when they need help. It is very difficult for me to ask for assistance but I am somewhat desperate.
A few of weeks ago, August 19th, I had an eye exam during which my pupils were dilated, a short time later I was walking down my basement steps and thought I was at the bottom but was actually on the third step up from the bottom. When I fell forward my right foot hit the floor with so much force it drove my knee cap up through the Quadricep Tendon completely rupturing the tendon. I was rushed to the hospital and two days later had surgery to reattach the tendon.
I have a brace on my leg to keep it immobilized which must remain in place for the next 12 -16 weeks. As a result I cannot drive and therefore, cannot work. I do have short term disability, but it only pays $34.00 per day. I am glad I am receiving something, but it is no where enough to pay my bills.
I am very humbly asking for your help in raising money to pay my bills over the next two to three months. I have many bills due in 7 days so the situation is rather urgent.
