Brians Battle To recovery

Brian Powers is a hard working father, husband and coworker . He is an independent contractor that suffered severe injuries on a job site and will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time. He is a father to two beautiful children , little Brian and his daughter Macy. His amazing wife Jamie is pregnant and expecting their third child. His wife is a stay at home mom and cares for their two children and Brian is the sole supporter. His daughter is a diabetic which makes it hard for anyone who is not familiar with her disease to care for her other than her parents . On Tuesday , June 27th Brian was doing a job in Arlington Va. While cutting a hole in the foundation wall, the large piece of concrete weighing over 1700lbs collapsed him and pinned him for an hour . Teams of medics and firefighters fought to get Brian safely out of the excavation site. News casts were there to witness he scene and that article can be found online. Finally, brian was rescued from the site and taken to Fairfax Hospital where he has suffered pelvic bone , tail bone and hip brakes and fractures. Surgery is still a potential. He will need extended care and rehabilitation. With Brian being the sole provided for his family all and any help would be greatly appreciated to assist his family during this very difficult , tragic time. Brian is a Maryland resident and a coach for multiple little league teams in our community. This accident has devastated the community .
