We are a two part project, the first is the social project encreciente and the second, our social companies loquesomos and de la mano.

Here in Colombia, generations are stuck in a limbo which for many is inexistent. Aspects which put the country at a standstill, such as laziness excused as being relaxed, are simply seen as cultural and are not addressed. The goal of encreciente is to teach and practically work through some of these norms or cultural drawbacks and work out ways to take the positive aspects but work through the negative. We will have strong focus in our lessons on critical thinking, as a major drawback for the growth of the country is the lack of critical and creative thinkers, from the political and and economic top down to the lower socio economic areas. The reason for this is that in schooling, students are taught what to remember and not how they learn.

We will also have programs for entrepreneurs and others who want to start a project, with guidance and development teams guiding them through the process. This is important as one of the most important parts of growth within a community is from its economic movement.

We have two company ideas to help fund encreciente, they will both be a social company with a 100% profit commitment to encreciente and business expansion ideas (allowing more money to go towards encreciente). loquesomos, meaning 'who we are', is our clothing and accessory brand; income will go towards the courses of encreciente.  de la mano, meaning 'by hand',  will be our online store, which will both be a platform for local brands, especially those which grow out of our entrepreneurial groups. It will be a nacional and with your help, an international website bringing top quality, handmade, artesanal or low production products to you. Income from de la mano will go toward the development of local projects, entrepreneur and social.

Here's where it comes to you, your donation will help by, firstly allowing us to legalise it all, for me, not being Colombian, everything is a whole lot harder.
Secondly, we can start the social projects on a larger scale, teaching local teachers how to teach the content affectively and hire them to go into schools, foundations and even higher education such as universities.
Thirdly, You can get us off the ground, internationally. When de la mano and loquesomos are big enough, encreciente can be entirely self sufficient, meaning that, not only will you be helping for a small time, until the money runs out.

We need the money by the end of May, as the project will have to be put on hold due to visa requirements.

So, please, jump on board, lets change the idea of what people think when they hear Colombia, let them think innovative and progressive.
