42.2 For The Piper Project

In October 2020 Spencer + Erica Hogan welcomed their second daughter, Piper Marie Hogan. They were only able to hold her in their arms for the day, and never got to bring her home.

After the loss of a child, Erica + Spencer started collecting books for the Sault Area Hospital Women and Children Unit, where every new baby born will go home with a new book, to Spark the Love of reading. This quickly turned into The Piper Project. 

To date, The Piper Project has collected over 650 books and counting. In addition over $800.00 have been donated to the SAH Foundation in Memory of The Piper Project.

WHO I AM:

My Name is Ben Dale, one of Pipers Uncles. In memory and support of The Piper Project, I have decided to run a full Marathon, 42.2km here in Sault Ste. Marie  on Saturday July 10th, 2021 to help raise funds to purchase more books for the Sault Area Hospital Maternity Unit. I will start the Run at the Airport, around the hospital, downtown core, and finish at the Hogan's House by Third Line and Leighs Bay Road.

All funds collected will go directly to The Piper Project to continue to invest into our community and continue Pipers memory for our Family.
