Support Of The Straw Family

Hello, my name is Andrew Straw. My father Michael Straw Sr. passed away on June 24, 2017. Dad was classified as 100% disabled due to chemical poisoning from Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam.

In 2009, he received a lung transplant due to a diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis. In the years following he would suffer from multiple heart attacks, strokes, kidney and heart disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes, bladder/kidney and lastly lung cancer- which would ultimately take his life.

Due to all his health complications dad was forced to retire at the young age of 59 and my mother left work early to take care of him full time. Even in all the years of struggle my parents faced they never asked to have any benefits or any fundraisers to help them.

Now, after dad's passing, my mother will be returning to work and us kids will help out financially where we can. The V.A has been wonderful offering some assistance, however my father's pension will be cut in half and there is still tremendous debt that was left behind for mom to handle.

In fear of losing our home and other assets that my parents built for us kids and our livelihood - I am creating this acount. We are hoping to get some help so my mom can keep the home her and my father worked so hard to get. We have been blessed by many with support. Now I modestly ask for help.. please share also help us reach our goal!
