Help rebuild Sandy-damaged property

My house was so damaged by Sandy that it must be elevated or demolished. I have flood coverage that is covering most of the cost, but I need to raise more to cover the full cost of modifying and raising the house. Flood insurance doesn't cover the decking, landscaping and wood storage shed in the backyard, or anything beyond the house's four walls. That money will come from my savings. It's been nearly a year since I've lived in my home. With your generosity, I can return with my kitties by the new year. I dedicate this fundraising effort to my friend and co-worker Rebecca. It was her idea to use crowdfunding to help me reach my goal, and she planned to spearhead all of this. But she has since been diagnosed with head and neck cancer and must focus on her recovery.
