Tyrone is nothing short of amazing. This sweet boy is a stray cat that has been hanging out in our neighborhood for almost 1 year and one of our generous neighbors had been feeding him and allowing him to sleep in her garage and yard. Tyrone starting having an issue with his eye several months ago where it appeared to be an infection and was given some antibiotic ointment which was not improving his condition. His condition continued to worsen and he has completely lost his left eye and has a large portion of his face missing( we only took a profile view picture because the full view of his sweet face is rather graphic). Tyrone has simply captured the hearts of myself, my neighbor Vicki and our great friend Beth, where Tyrone is now staying. We have taken Tyrone to a Veterinarian and they have explained that Tyrone appears to have Squamous Cell Carcinoma(cancer). The Veterinarian does not know how long Tyrone will have left, but his heart is strong and he appears otherwise healthy and is in no apparent pain, so he may have a year or possibly more. Despite his shocking appearance, Tyrone is an absolute love bug and still wants to play and be loved and does not appear to be in any distress. When that time comes we will make the appropriate decision for Tyrone. We would like to provide the best care for Tyrone that we can to make the remainder of his life comfortable allow him to live his life with dignity help us make Tyrone's remaining time on this earth exactly what this lion hearted boy deserves, JOYFUL! All donations will go 100% towards his care and then to work with trap neuter release programs to reduce the population of stray and feral cats in Tyrone's honor and to support the efforts of All Souls Connected.
