Hi, my name is Hannah and I volunteer for North East Solidarity and Teaching (N.E.ST) who support refugees and asylum-seeking communities in the North East through education, integration and empowerment.

This April, I am going to be cycling 400km to go towards N.E.S.T’s 10,000km for 10 years fundraiser.

All the money raised will help support people facing sudden homelessness due to changes in the asylum decision process, and provide free summer opportunities for sanctuary-seeking children following last year's successful programme.

I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work NEST does for the community, and the impact they have had on so many people’s lives.
