40 year old needs Top Surgery "Yeet the Teet"

Everyone dreams of becoming someone awesome but the thing is I am already that person. I have always been what I desired to become, it was inside me all along. So now I want the outside to reflect that person…I mean for years I knew something was “different” about me and that I wanted top surgery but not until last summer (2021) when I finally put all the pieces together and accepted that I am trans.
Kids these days are much better than the ones from 50 years ago. These kids are stronger, confident, wiser, and quite frankly it has inspired me. To be 100% confident in your own identity at such a young age is something that I was envious of but it’s not too late for me. I was assigned a gender at birth but I struggle with gender dysphoria. Per Webster’s dictionary, dysphoria is “a state of feeling very unhappy, uneasy, or dissatisfied” and gender dysphoria is when someone feels very unhappy, or dissatisfied in relation to their gender. I am not a woman and I am not a man. I am just me. I am the in-between. I am non-binary. I am trans. I am queer and my pronouns are they/them. I am the same awesome person that you may personally know and I am 100% committed to living my life as my true self, no more hiding who I am.
I will be having the surgery in Miami, Florida on April 1st and that’s not a joke! The doctor I have chosen specializes in a technique that benefits the patient, allowing for higher achievement of desired results and a shorter recovery period. Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher has found a niche in helping the LGBTQ+ community especially those with higher BMIs that so often get told “NO because you’re fat.” Dr. Gallagher does an individual analysis of every patient and it’s a case by case approval because she understands that getting top surgery IS medically necessary for me and my health.
