<div>Ein Kind in der Schwangerschaft zu verlieren, ist eine zutiefst schmerzliche Erfahrung. Mit dem Baby sterben Träume, Pläne und Zukunftsbilder. Eltern müssen ihr Kind begrüßen und zugleich verabschieden – ein Moment voller Trauer, Sprachlosigkeit und Einsamkeit.

<div>Seit 2005 gibt es auf dem Lindenauer Friedhof in Leipzig den „Ruhegarten für Schmetterlingskinder“. Dort werden dreimal im Jahr frühverstorbene Kinder mit einem Geburtsgewicht unter 500 g in würdevollen Trauerfeiern verabschiedet und beigesetzt. Die Organisation Sternenkinder begleitet Eltern in dieser schweren Zeit liebevoll und einfühlsam – so auch uns bei der Geburt unserer Tochter Leni.
