<div>Mohamad Al Haj Jneed is four years old and was born in Canada to a Syrian refugee family.  Mohamad has Thalassemia; a blood disorder caused when the body doesn’t make enough of a protein called hemoglobin, an essential part of red blood cells. Because there aren't enough red blood cells in his blood, Mohamad needs to have a blood transfusion every 25 days at McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton. He also goes to do tests five times a month. Mohamad was also born with hearing loss and had to have Cochlear implants in both ears in addition to weekly speech therapy.

<div>Currently, Mohamad has Hepatomegaly which increases the iron level in his blood way above the average level in is a danger to his life. Mohamad gets treatment to get rid of iron in the liver, but it's not helping that much. Also, he has no immunity to diseases. Almost every two weeks, he gets admitted to the hospital for an infection in his chest. Mohamad goes to the children's sick hospital in Toronto to follow up on his hearing and to McMaster children's hospital for a blood transfusion. Also, he follows up with a pediatrician and family doctor in Kitchener every week.

<div>Mohamad has to do a life-saving surgery to have a bone marrow transplant. Mohamad's family did complete testing to see if they were a match. Unfortunately, they were no match. Also, Mohamad cannot have the transplant from a stranger because of his sensitive situation. The only option left now is cultivating a child identical to Mohamad's genes, which is costly for the family.

<div>Unfortunately, we can't afford it, and the government doesn’t cover it completely. They only cover ten percent of the whole procedure, which costs $50 000. Please help us not to lose Mohamad and save his life.

<div>هو الأن يعاني من تضخم الكبد وزياده في الحديد بنسبه خطره نعطيه الادويه لاستخراج الحديد من الكبد لكن الادويه لا تساعد كثيرا ولايوجد لديه مناعة من الأمراض تقريبا كل أسبوعين يدخل إلى المشفى بسبب التهاب في صدره لانهم وضعو له جهاز في صدره لتسهيل عمليه نقل الدم نحن نذهب إلى مشفى الأطفال في تورونتو لمتابعة السمع ونذهب إلى هاملتون لنقل الدم بالاضافه إلى متابعته مع دكتور الأطفال في كتشنر وايضا طبيب العائله بشكل اسبوعي يجب علينا ان نقوم بعمليه مستعجله من أجل زراعة نخاع العظم قمنا بعمل فحوصات لكامل أفراد العائله من أجل تطابق الجينات مع محمد لكن لايوجد مطابقه وغير ممكن ان يكون المتبرع من خارج العائله لقد عانينا الكثير ولم نصل إلى نتيجه الحل الوحيد لكي ننقذ محمد هو ان اقوم بزراعة طفل مطابق بالجينات مع محمد لكي نستطيع أن نعالج محمد الوضع سيئ جدا ولا املك المال لإجراء هذه العمليه لان التكلفه عاليه جدا منذ ولد محمد إلى الآن ونحن نعاني ونبحث ونذهب إلى مواعيد كثيره من أجل الحفاظ على حياته لقد تواصلنا مع عياده الاخصاب وبسبب حاله محمد الصحيه المتدهوره اعطونا موعد قريب جدا وارسلو لنا الفحوصات لكن للأسف هذه الفحوصات الحكومه لا تقوم بتغطيتها بشكل كامل نرجو المساعده قدر المستطاع لكي لا نخسر محمد
