4 Marathons 4 days 4 Schools

I am running 4 marathons in 4 days along the South West Coastal Path.  I am running  to raise money for musical equipment and for the provision of music therapy for the 4  special schools in Cornwall.

Nancealverne               School Penzance
Pencalenick School   Truro
 

The route will be:

Day 1:        Holywell Bay- Gwithian
Day 2:        Gwithian - Pendeen
Day 3:        Pendeen  - Penzance
Day 4:        Penzance - The Lizard


These are strange times.  The entertainment industry as a whole has suffered through this pandemic, and many musicians are having to look for alternate work. 

This run is to highlight the importance and the necessity of music in the Special School Curriculum.  Music can enhance language and communication and learning for children of all abilities,  and is so much more than 'mere fun and frivolity'.  Music and the role it has to play in education should not be overlooked in these uncertain times.
